Transforming Rail Travel in Central and Eastern Europe
High-speed trains not only make journeys faster, but also help to reduce environmental impact. The major infrastructure projects currently being developed in Central and Eastern Europe benefit from an experienced bank such as KfW IPEX Bank.
The new Standard Gauge Railway System (SGR) that is being built in Tanzania is expected to make a significant contribution to the economic development of Tanzania and the entire region. KfW IPEX-Bank is substantially contributing to the financing of this project as part of an international banking consortium.
